Our Story
PrimeTalent Recruitment was founded in 2008 by Catherine Wells, a seasoned executive recruiter with a vision to create a different kind of agency — one that prioritised long-term relationships over quick placements, and genuine career transformation over simply filling vacancies.
Starting from a single office in the City of London with a team of five specialist consultants, PrimeTalent quickly earned a reputation for quality, integrity and deep sector expertise. By 2012, we had expanded into Manchester and Birmingham, and by 2018 our Edinburgh and Bristol offices were serving clients across the whole of the UK.
Today, PrimeTalent employs over 120 specialist consultants across our five UK offices, covering every major industry sector. We have made more than 8,200 successful placements and partner with over 950 organisations ranging from ambitious startups to FTSE 100 companies.
In 2026, we continue to invest in technology, talent and training — embracing AI-powered matching while never losing the human touch that defines our approach and has earned us a 4.9/5 candidate rating.
